Every litter has one: the tiny one who has to fight a little harder. At nolacrazycatlady.com, we’re celebrating that very spirit today with the story of Tigress, the runt who grew into a queen of cuddles.
Tigress’s journey began on April 12, 2016. She, her sister Boots, and another sibling were sadly abandoned by their stray mother. Our family became their lifeline, providing round-the-clock bottle feedings and a safe haven. Once they were old enough, all three were vetted and spayed, setting them up for a healthy future.
Though she was our “itty bitty,” what Tigress lacked in size, she more than made up for in will and affection. Like her sister Boots and our other cat Daisy, Tigress is a bit of a feline introvert, preferring her own company to the hustle of the other cats. But with her humans? She is an utter lovebug.
You’ll often find her chasing the same jingling balls that Boots loves or batting around a potent catnip toy. But these activities are just the warm-up for her true passion: snuggling.
Tigress’s favorite hobby is the art of the cuddle. She is a world-class snuggler who loves nothing more than to claim her rightful place on your chest, nuzzled right into your face for a nap. It’s her way of saying thank you, of showing complete trust, and of sharing her boundless, purring love.
From a vulnerable runt to the most devoted snuggle partner, Tigress is proof that the smallest packages often hold the greatest hearts. She is our itty bitty, our total sweetheart, and we are so grateful she chose us to love.
